periodic missing image

The problem I am experiencing is a very odd. I have a power point
presentation that is running on a large screen at our entrance. Our
company logo and a banner strip image are embedded in the Master
Slide, as the presentation loops periodically some of the slides fail
to show one or the other of the embedded images, however onthe next
cycle the image has returned. Most often it is there but once in a
while the image is missing and all that is there is the image frame
and the red X.

Anyone else ever experienced anything like this?
