Conversion from pdf format

I have a database table in pdf Adobe Acrobat format and I can't get access to
recognize (import) it. Is there some trick? Seems like a pretty simple
thing, but it's driving me crazy.
 
If you are using acrobat reader, you're sort of out of luck. If you have a
full version of acrobat you can use the text select tool to capture the text
(providing it is text and not a scanned image).

You can't import a PDF file directly into Access or most other programs. The
beauty of the PDF format is that people really can't change it so you can
post it without worry that someone will mess with it. There are some tools
that can extract data from PDF files. Look at PDF995.com for one example.

Also you might just ask for the orginal data from whomever sent it to you.
