Hi,

Does anyone know if it's possible to use group policy to
remove a specific user group from the 'everyone' group?

I want to allow our users to continue sharing their
folders the way they have been, but I also want that to
automatically deny access to any visitors that require
domain access.... Can anyone help?

Thanks,

Thanks for that. Is there anyway of changing the default
share group from 'everyone' to something else?

.
Stephen,

Not that I know. WIth WIN2000 ( as with WINNT ) MS
decided - for whatever reason - that the EVERYONE group
should be the default. It is a bit annoying. I
personally use either Domain Users or Authenticated
Users. My preference is Domain Users.

With WIN2003 this is supposed to have been changed but I
can not really speak to that as I have not looked at it
yet ( meaning, this function... ).

HTH,

Cary
