controller speaker configuration

Build 5384

all drivers installed correctly however the VIA audio controller speaker
configuration window subwoffer, center speaker and side speakers these
options are all grayed out how do i get 5.1 surround sound

Not sure on the VIA controller. But, Vista is still having issues with sound
cards from many vendors. There are work arounds, but some features are still
lacking. It may be one of those things that hasn't been completed yet in the
drivers.
