I managed to install Win95 HP Scanjet 4C drivers under XP
(oops!). I deleted the drivers but the Scanner appears on
Control Panel and I cannot remove it.
How do I remove it and where can I get updated drivers for
the Scanjet?

Check out HP for the updated drivers, link above, and to
get your scanner off go to my computer and right click,
properties, hardware tab, device manager, locate your
scanner under imaging and right click and uninstall it or
disable it, your choice.
