Control panel opening

Question and / or comment:
A few weeks ago I posed a question about how long (on my new computer) it
was taking for Control Panel to open up. Everything else ok. It was taking
about 25 seconds to open. Over the past weeks, it has been gradually
speeding up: 20 sec, 16 sec, 12 sec, and now it is 9 seconds.
Any thoughts?

It might be a corrupt .cpl file. Not really sure. Let us know.
