Control Panel Disappears! Help!

Whenever I open the Control Panel, it doesn't open, and explorer.exe reloads.
(AKA; The screen goes blank, and then the start menu and desktop reappears).
Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

I use Windows XP Professional, without SP2. Thanks!

Start by running this combo:

Run Ad-Aware SE, Spybot and HijackThis:

Note: Update each program, once installed, before running.
