"Control Enter" no longer adds "www" or ".com" to site typed into address bar in IE6

Prior to the most recent round of ie6 updates, I used to be able to just
enter a name into the address bar, then press Control + Enter and it
automatically added "www" onto the beginning and ".com" onto the end. For
example, if I wanted to go the the telus site, which is www.telus.com all I
would have to do is type telus into the address bar, depress the Control
butten and hit Enter, and it would automatically add the www. to the
beginning and the .com at the end, then take me to the site. Now, it goes
to MSN search.

Is there a box I can check somewhere, or is this one of the security holes.
TIA

Run regedit and make sure these keys are correct.

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\AutoCo
mplete]
"Append Completion"="no"
"Use AutoComplete"="yes"
"AutoSuggest"="no"

Changing "Append Completion" from "no" to "yes" will restore the function.
