Control Alt Delete

I cannot use the cont/alt/del function on XP Home
Edition. When activated it shows the pop-up box
momentarily but disappears when I try to get to it.

Hi Captain. I haven't been able to run this myself yet
but my mother's computer had the same error. I found a
site that offers help, and wanted to show you the link. I
haven't run it myself yet, am at work, but I will try it
by tomorrow and let you know if you don't try it first.

You need the utility to create a new regedit/taskmanager.
I will have to try it to see what areas to help you with
from there, but that's a possible fix immediately for you.
