Continuously requesting username

While trying to publish using Fronpage 2000, it will keep
prompting to input my username and password. I'll put it
in, it will publish a few pages and then prompt me again.
Does anyone know how to fix this? Or what setting I need
to be aware off on my web server. Which is a window 2000
IIS server.
