Continuous Mailing Labels

The label wizard does not seem to work for continuous
mailing labels. It insists on keeping the margins at a
total that suits letter paper and then prints on every
tenth or twelth label, skipping those blanks in between.
Switching to a customized label makes no difference. The
paper size can only be changed to one from a list of
items, most of which have code names. I need to print a
3.7 inch by 6.0 inch billing card that is fed one-at-a-
time through a tractor-feed printer.
Please help.

Im many cases, you can select (or create) a user-defined paper size in
the "printer properties" or "printer preferences" options of the
printer itself. Access these settings from the Windows Control Panel.
Once you have established the custom size at the printer level, you
should be able to select it in Access.

Thank you for the reply, Lewis.

I was not able to enter a custom printing size at the
control panel. I have tentatively concluded that I need
to design my label while at the client's PC, with his
tractor printer selected as the default printer. My
printer is a sheet feeder and MS Access will not let me
print closer to the bottom edge than about ½ inch. I need
to print right down to about a .066" bottom margin.
