Continued Reminder Error

i am receiving an error message in Outlook 2003, "Cannot start the reminder
service , unable to show reminders"
I have deleted every reminder or appointment in my calendar, used the reset
folder switch, but still cannot repair this error. I'm starting to get really
frustrated and would appreciate any help with this. Aj

I am having the same issue. I ran the outlook/cleanreminders and it still did
not make the message go away or let my reminders work. Any ideas out there?

Try using the /resetfolders switch. That should re-enable the reminder
service.

Same problem also. Have tried moving user to different computer and the
problem folloes. Have ran all the switches that come with outlook, seems to
be some corrutp folders on the exchange server itself. The one thing in
common with the reminders problem was my users are using blackberrys?

I'm using a blackberry and that seems to be causing the problem. I've yet to
find a fix.

I've heard of some similar problems with some versions of the Blackberry
software, that it corrupts reminders or causes duplicate Reminders folders
to be created, which really screws up the Outlook reminders service. About
the only things you could do are not use the Blackberry or see if they have
any updates or fixes for the problem.
