Continued Problems with Browser Hijacking

The problem now appears to be solved. It looks as if
Anti-spyware was successful where the other products
failed. It just took persistance and the use of the
advanced features.
 
That's good news.

Using the advanced features with some guidance from others in a forum such
as this one seems a likely way that users will be approaching cleaning
unknown threats in the future--any clear suggestions you have for Microsoft
about how to make those features more suitable for that purpose would be
welcome.
