Husband's computer has started rebooting continually.
Comes all the way to main screen but then restarts and
cycles this way until shut off. Any suggestions?
Thank you.

Your post is basically saying, "It's broken, why?" so you can't possibly
get a specific answer. You don't provide any details. Here are generic
troubleshooting steps for you to take:

General Windows troubleshooting: 1) scan with current antivirus using
updated definitions; 2) remove spyware with tools such as Spybot S&D
(www.security.kolla.de) and/or Ad-aware (www.lavasoftusa.com) - note
that it is a good idea to do virus and spyware scans in Safe Mode; 3)
delete temporary and Temporary Internet Files; 4) stop unnecessary
services/programs from running at startup (see www.blackviper.com for a
listing of services). After making sure the computer is clean - does
the problem persist? If yes, then post back with details or contact
good local computer repair shop.

Also, be sure your operating system is up-to-date with all the MS
patches you should have been getting from Windows Update.

I think this is the way to go..

Get the PC to boot in "Safe Mode" by holding down the F8 (or Ctrl key?) just
before the Windows user interface is displayed (eg before the screen changes
to colour).

(Aside: You should not use your PC in safe mode for normal day to day tasks,
only to repair it when it isn't working. This is because in safe mode only a
limited amount of the operating system is functioning - you won't have
access to the internet or printers for example.)

Once it starts in safe mode do a system restore choosing a restore point a
day or two before the problem started. You should be able to access the
system restore wizard in safe mode using the help system eg..

"To access the System Restore Wizard, click Start, and then click Help and
Support. Click Performance and Maintenance, click "Using System Restore to
undo changes", and then click Run the System Restore Wizard."

If it won't start in safe mode then you may need to look up "Recovery
console"..

Do the virus scan before the system restore to ensure it's not a virus that
will still be there. The restore point and more so recovery could get around
a driver problem
