Continual password prompt

Hello,

I have a winxp SP 2 machine connected to a small business network

Although the user logs on (Administrator account) with a good password
it doesn't seem to hold the network connection.

Whenever he tries them to click on a shortcut to a network resource he gets
a "not found" error.
Browsing through the Network Places prompts him for his password and
everything is fine for about 10 mins...then he needs to enter it again.

Likewise when entering OUTLOOK.

Where do I adjust this "password timeout" behaviour.

Thanks,
Mal.

Domain or workgroup?

If it's a domain check the clock and make sure it's within 5 minutes or so
of the domain controller. If it is I would take it off and add it back onto
the domain.

If it is a workgroup make sure the machines all have usernames and passwords
for every other machine that will be connecting to it in Local Users and
Groups. Also make sure the network adapters are not allowed to power down.
