Hello

For your sateliteinternetconnection does both the upload & download stream
come through the satelite ? or does the upload strean require you to dial in
using a dial up connection ?

Going back several years ago when sateliteinternetwas first available it
required a user connect using a dial up connection for the upload stream.
Which using that method could cause great headaches and disconnects if the
settings for the modem arent set just right. I would think by now all or most
Satelite providers do have the capability of using the dish to transmit both
streams.
To who it may concern:
I have wildblue for my satellite setup. my computer is connected with
an ethernet cable that runs from the from the satellite dish to a
modem that sets next to the computer.it then connects from the modem
to the computer.
