Continous form height

Can the height of a continuous form be set? Right now it defaults to the
height of a single record and I am only able to change it in form view by
dragging the edge. I guess I can insert the continous form as a subform in
another form but am wondering if there is an easier way.

Yes. But there is no setting for the height of the whole form as such. The
height of a form is set by setting the height of its individual sections:
header, detail, footer etc.
