How do I place the new record row at top of continuous form

I have form/subform arrangement, with the records in the subform sorted
decending by date. I would like the new record row of the continous form at
the top of the form.

You can't.

What you can do is use two subforms, one with DataEntry = Yes, with a height
of a single row above a second instance with AllowAdditions set to False.
