Content Advisor - Web Site List

Hello

Where is the Content Advisor Web Site file list stored for IE6? We use
multiple machines and it becomes very cumbersome to enter each and every web
site into Content Advisor on all new machines. Is it possible to transfer the
complete Content Advisor web site file list to another machine?

Thank you for your time

Hi,
You willing to test this? This information is (apparently) in the
ratings.pol file. That file should be in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM and is probably a
hidden file. You might try copying the ratings.pol file to another machine.
I would start out with 2 machines having the same OS and version of IE. If
something goes awry, you can delete the ratings.pol file and start fresh.
See: 242037 - Error Message Please Check Your Content Advisor Settings for
Missing Information:

Hope this helps,
Don

Hi Don

Thank you very much for the response. I should've included my platform
information in my original post. I'm running Windows 2000 Professional and
IE6. I had previously read the KB article you referred to. Unfortunately, I
don't have a Policy file named ratings.pol. I am able to view all hidden and
system files. The only two Policy files listed are ntuser.pol and
registry.pol. As far as I can tell, neither file lists the Content Advisor
web sites.

Again, I do thank you for your response.
