Content Advisor - Cannot Block Sites

This has been a frustrating problem that no one seems to be able to solve.
This is NOT a password issue. It happened right after I was hooked up to
Comcast Cable Internet.

When I go to content advisor to block/or add a site there is a PERMANENT
green circle (w/a whit check in it) in the approved/disapproved web sites
box. There is no web adress after it and I can delete it only for it to pop
back up when I go back into Approved Sites. I can enter disapproved sites
but they aren't blocked because the PERMANENT green circle is basically
allowing all sites to be view...in effect disabling the whole function of
Content Advisor. I don't know if my system was hacked and someone messed
around with it or what - but for the life of me I cannot figure out what
happened and how to correct the problem. Thank you to anyone who can help.

Hi TommyGirl - You might just want to start afresh.

If you wish to restore Content Advisor to its original condition (because of
your kids) you can obtain a Microsoft program (CA-Reset.exe - 89.5K) to do
this here: http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/regs_edits/CA-Reset.exe
(listed on line 283) NOTE: Using CA-Reset will completely delete your
Approved List - everything starts like brand new, so consider this before
you use it. You may also wish to take a look at:

YVW, TommyGirl - I'm pleased it helped. It's all too infrequently that I'm
able to assist in something that turns out to be "too cool". (I am reliably
informed by my daughters and my granddaughter that I do, upon very
infrequent occasion, rise to basic 'coolhood' [my 30-something younger
daughter recently was amazed that I knew who JLo was], but 'too coolhood' -
now that's 'really neat'.) :)
