contacts lost

I've lost all my contacts....they are deleted.
Is it possible to get them back from the from fields in
the email messages? So yes, how?

Not natively. You may be able to find a third party add-in that will harvest
them for you or you may be able to harvest them from your autocompletion
cache.

Did you check your Deleted items folder? If they were deleted, that's where
they would be.
