Contacts file in Outlook and Outlook Express

Ok, I've managed to rack a system and purchased a new pumped up Gateway.
You are infact reading this from the new one. The new one has Outlook and
Internet Explorer up and running. The old one still has Outlook Express and
Internet Explorer on the drive and I can get to the files but can not fire up
Internet Explorer nor Outlook Express (trust me here). Some one please give
me the paths and names of the favorites and contacts (where the e-address
and URL's are).

I lost the internet connection and the Internet Connection Wizzard... That
system is being cleaned and set-up as an non-online recorder for siesmic
equipment... I got a little too quick with a few file removals.

You need to copy OE mail/addresses from old PC to OE on new PC,
then *export* mail from OE to OL and in OL import mail addresses from OE

Favorites are stored within the Documents & Settings grouping.

I meant also to say, if you were a little 'liberal' with file removal, you
may want to run the system file checker, or even perhaps a repair install of
win. As you may find certain OE files are an integral part of sys
functionality
