Outlook express in Internet Explorer

My previous version of Internet Explorer had access to Outlook Express
from the tool bar, but my updated vesion doesn't have this access.
The only way I can read e-mails iin Outlook Express is to use the
access via the desktop.
How can I access this from my new version of Internet Explorer?
My outlook express is 2003.

There is no such thing as Outlook Express 2003. It's either Outlook
Express 6, or Microsoft Outlook 2003 - please clarify.

If you are indeed talking about Outlook Express, then please post your
question in an Outlook Express group, as this groups is for Microsoft
Outlook (a component of Microsoft Office).
