Contacts all have reminders on them

I recently transferred my .pst file from my old computer (with office 2003
and XP) to my new Dell Latitude 610 laptop, with Office 2003 and XP on it.
However, all my contacts are coming up with reminders. I dismiss them all,
but they come back again when I restart Outlook. Even new contacts that I
create pop up as a reminder. How can I correct this? Thanks.

Try starting Outlook once with the /CleanReminders switch. If you need help

Wouldn't starting Outlook with the "/CleanReminders" switch also delete
your task and calendar reminders ? Wouldn't it be better to use the
drag-and-drop technique with a view that grouped contacts by "Flag" to
just reset the flags and associated reminders ?

I've never heard of the CleanReminders switch deleting any reminders that are
working fine...for me it has just cleaned up the corrupted ones.

Thanks, Jocelyn. I wasn't sure and thought others might be in the same

The /CleanReminders flag did not work for me -- and from what I'm reading is
not working for others with the same problem (reminders popping up for all
contacts).

Any other ideas?

I have also encountered this issue and have tried /cleanreminder however
this does not solve the problem. Has anyone been able to resolve this issue?
