how can I close follow up reminder window?

My computer froze while I had a follow-up reminder window open in Outlook.
When I restarted the computer, the contact linked to the reminder had been
erased but the reminder window keeps coming back every time I open Outlook
and I can't seem to delete it. What must I do?

I am having the same problem. I tried your suggestion but no luck. The reminder window just keeps hanging there on the toolbar. When I click on it, nothing happens. I can't close it. I tried the switch "cleanreminders" but no luck. Even reinstalled Outlook but no luck.
Any other suggestions?
