Contact Folder inaccessible after crash recovery

I'm running Outlook 2002 SP3. When my system crashed, I restored from
a backup device to a new drive. I restored the .pst file to the new
Outlook location and renamed the one that was created with the new
installation of Outlook. The contact folder is there but when I click
on the address book icon when creating an email it says that it can't
find the contact folder.

Any ideas on this?

Make sure you have the Outlook Address Book service in your profile and
enable the Contacts folder as an address book.

If you have Contacts in the Contacts folder but they are not accessible when
you click on the To button, check these settings:

Make sure the Contact folder is enabled as an email address book. Right
click the Contacts folder, choose Properties then Outlook Address Book. Is
the box to enable as email address book is checked?

If this is grayed out...

Go to Tools | Email Accounts, choose View or change existing directories or
address book. Is the Outlook Address Book present? If it isn't listed, add
it and close and restart Outlook. If it is listed, then remove it and close
then restart Outlook and repeat these steps to add it.

I can't do this. I can't find an option anywhere for editing a
profile. I found an option in the address book for specifying that
the contacts folder be searched and displayed when the address book is
selected; it was already in effect. For some reason, outlook can't
open contacts.
