Not from Jim,
But
You'll will find some good planning ideas on setting up your DWT at
http://www.dwtig.com/
On your other pages remove any redundant content (include pages, nav bars, banners, footers, etc) before you apply the DWT to it
Once you get the hang of them you will probably not go back to shared borders, etc
The only down side is currently the DWT will not automatically update all pages in a FP Site running under the FP SE (you will need
to reopen all pages to apply changes to the DWT)
It does automatically update all pages using them in disc based webs and webs running under WSS

| Hi Jim, I feel honored to gain your attention!
Love your addins and
| your and Paul's new book! Thanks.
| Ok I have been testing around with this DWT and I think I am getting the
| hang of it and it is very cool! I am so glad it was suggested to me.
| This is what I wound up doing please tell me if it is around the bush or you
| think I did it right. Hopefully others will learn with me.
|
| I have an existing developed page so I selected the layout table, copied and
| pasted it into a new blank page that will be saved as the main level dwt. to
| use on the main level pages. On the dwt I gave it the page background path,
| formated the page properties, pasted my navigation buttons from the included
| page I had been using, also copied any static text and graphics for the main
| level and assigned the managable edit areas to the rest of the cells. I
| attached it to the old web page.
|
| I'm sticky on what I should be selecting for old / new regions. I would like
| this template to replace just the template elements and not delete the
| editable areas all over the rest of the old page that had been established.
| What should I do?
|
| How am I doing so far?
)
|
| Thank you!!
| Deb Mc
