Constant restart of PC

I'm having a similar problem that has been discussed
earlier this week with WIN2000 behavior after the SP4
update. WIN2000 loads completely from what I can see on
the progress bar but then shuts downs the PC and restarts
it...
Tried all the steps indicated in the Windows Knowledge
Base,ie: restarted with the 4 setup disks and win 2000 pro
install disk. Go to the Repair otion and tried all the
different options that Repair offers but still to no
avail. My PC keeps loading Win 2000 Pro and then
switches off and restart.
Also tried booting from a boot disk created as suggested
in the Windows KB and also an emergency repair disk
created on another computer that has WIn2000 pro. Same
behavior.It just keeps switching off and restarts...
Any suggestions?

You may be getting a Blue Screen of Death and your system is set to
automatically reboot in the event of a system crash. See if you can see a
blue screen for a fraction of a second before the reboot.

I've had this, and I'll post the KB article I found, assuming I can find it
again. Mine was a STOP 0x7b error, by the way.
