I just re-installed Win XP Pro with SP2. Eveything was working great. Then I
run a Virus Scan using Norton System Works. I walked away and come back to
find that my PC is in a looping reboot. It does not get close to the log in
screen. Is there a problem with chdsk? Can I disabl it? My Bios was also
updated before I did the re-install. HELP!! Jeff

A looping reboot is probably a response to the 'restart on error' setting.

Disable automatic restart on system failure (on SP2): Press F8 on restart,
and see the menu item to disable auto restart. Restart, and when the STOP
message appears, record information needed for further troubleshooting.
