Constant reboots and boot failures

Before I installed the latest security updates everything worked fine.
Afterwards, my computer booted, loaded windows, I could log in, programs
were loaded, then I had an automatic reboot. The error message was that that
Windows had unexpectedly rebooted and it could be caused by recently
installed hardware or software. I've only installed MS updates.
After this happening several times I couldn't boot into Windows at all. Got
a 'missing or corrupt ntldr.sys' message.

Then suddenly I was able to get back into Windows, and I rolled back to
before the last critical updates I installed.

Since then I've had no problems, although it's too soon to tell as I've only
been up for a few hours.

Are there any reports of problems with any of the last updates? I don't plan
reinstalling them if they make this computer unusable.

Hi

Did you mean an error message with a reference to ntldr.dll?

Tes, I did mean ntldr.dll. I was typong from memory and got the wrong file
type.
Once I had that error, but it could not have been missing or corrupt,
because later Windows started and I rolled back to the day before the last
security updates.
Since then I've had no problems.
