Constant error message - cannot open page

Over the past 3 months or so, I often get a message while trying to move from
link to link that states "Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site
....... Operation aborted" with a "ok" button. Once I click ok, I then get
re-directed to "The page cannot be displayed screen".

I haven't really noticed a pattern to when it happens but lately it's been
most often in Flickr. And this morning, while surfing around
www.threadless.com, it happend almost everytime I tried to click to a
different page within the site.

Any input would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Thanks Don. That seemed to do the trick. It took forever for the clearing
to finish - a good sign - and I've been clicking around for the past bit and
no more message.

I really appreciate your answering my question.

Take care,

Jo-Anne

Hello again Don,

Unfortunately I spoke to soon. I managed to surf for quite sometime before
the message started popping up again. In frustration I installed Firefox but
would prefer to continue to use IE.

I did some digging around through Google to try and find some information,
but most of it was way over my head, talking about editing scripts among
others.

Any other thoughts?
