Console Login

I have a Windows 2000 server running sp4. Things run fine until I
login to the server console. If I login to the console all network
shares stop working. I can ping the server and telnet into IIS and
SMTP. I have run virus scans and can find nothing. If anyone could
shed some light, thanks in advance.

Just curious, are you running the MS telnet daemon on the server, if so, can
you log in via telnet without problems?

Yes I do and yes I can login to the telnet session no problem. If I
leave the server alone its fine. But if I login to the server console
or RDP it stops all shares including printers.
