Connects to ISP but will not download anything

Hi

I have just upgraded to XP Home from 98 and I cannot download any pages from the internet. I can however connect to the ISP successfully. The mail download also fails

I am using IE6 and have disabled the firewall

Please help C.

You may want to clean-install Windows XP and see if this helps.
Unfortunately upgrade installations do not always work well.

You may have other programs that are interfering with IE such as old
programs such as ZoneAlarm. Use Add/REmove programs to remove old
programs. Also try Adaware to remove any spyware.
