Connection window keeps popping up

I have outlook 2003 which I normally use through my email
server at work, however I also have a dial up connection
for times when I'm away from the office. My office server
is set as the default connection but my dial up connection
window keeps popping up and asking for a password! Any one
else have this problem and have found a solution?

Does this problem occur at home or office? If this is happening at your
office, it could be that there are connection issues at work. Once the
computer needs a connection and it is not there, it will try to connect with
your dial-up. This can be a normal occurence depending on your connection
settngs.

You should check that your connection settings are correct in Outlook. Go
to Tools, then Accounts. Click on the Mail tab and then double-click on
your mail account that is listed. Click on the Connections tab and make
sure that the box is unchecked that says. "Always connect to this account
using". If you have more than one account, repeat this process for each.
Hit OK and then all accounts listed in the Internet Accounts window should
say "Any Available" under the connection column.

Good Luck
