Connection Timed Out Error Msg

For the past few days I've been receiving the following
error message: APP_BK_038, Connection timed out (error
#10060). It keeps popping up every few seconds. I am
running Windows XP and I have a Dell Dimensions PC. When
I run a virus scan, it does not show up. I have made no
recent system changes but my kids do occasionally
download beta games to try out.

What can I do to get it to stop?

Beta games usually contain various holes in programming code. It is best to
not download beta software unless you are using a computer dedicated solely
to beta software. You should wait for the final version of the software to
download it. Otherwise, programs might have odd interactions with other
programs.
