Connection Icon

Both the LAN connection icon as well as the Internet
Connection icon in the bottom right corner has
disappeared.

I have clicked on both the boxes to show when active, but
both seem to have disappeared.
 
I tried to check mark, reboot, uncheck mark, reboot, check mark, the networ
property. No icon

Well, lo and behold, I got this working some other way

I went to control panel, sound control, click on the speaker icon
Out pop both the speaker and network icons

There must be some kind of program bug for this

I found this in another section it might be useful
