connection could not be found

I am having an issue - when my computer starts up - I get the following error:

c:\windows\connection could not be found

If I hit ok - everything seems to work ok - but it is annoying.

Are you SURE that's EXACTLY what it says?

That format indicates that something is looking for a FILE named
"connection" (no extension) in the Windows folder on the C: drive.
Normally, there is no such file in WinXP. There should be a folder named
"Connection Wizard" there. (In my WinXP, that folder is present, but
empty.)

At what point do you see this message? Before the Desktop appears? Before
you try to start any program?

What is in your Startup folder? Click Start | All Programs | Startup.
