Connecting to multiple netwroked PCs

Hi

We have multiple win xp pro PCs on a LAN connected to an ADSL router which
acts as both a hub and an ADSL modem/router. A fixed ip address (provided by
isp) is assigned to the router. Can I connect remotely to each of the xp pro
pcs using the single fixed ip address over a vpn? How does it work?

Thanks

The XP PCs on the LAN should have private IP addresses (192.168.xxx.xxx).
You will need to have a VPN server set up on one PC, or add a Netopia R910
router (acts as a VPN server). After you connect to the VPN server, you now
become a PC like on the LAN side. Then, using the indivifual PC IP address
(192.168.xxx.xxx), you can connect to each of the PCs.

Thanks for that. That clarifies it. Just one more question; how do I make a
win xp pro to be a vpn server?

Thanks
