I am a rookie in FP and need real simple answers. I used the Import wizard
and got this message: An error has occured accessing your FP web files.
Authors - if authoring against a web server ... and so on. I am working on
my local machine. I am trying to create the web pages before I move the
whole thing to a web server. Can someone please explain how I can connect to
my access db and to work in FP locally. Thanks

have you at least gotten the .mdb file into your web?
If not, copy it there with windows explorer.

Once the file is within your web hit tools/ web setting/ database.
hit the add button, browse to the mdb and select it. then back in the
dialog box, hit "verify". that's it. FrontPage will create a global .asa,
set permissions on it, etc. It's one of my favorite FrontPage features.
if, during the process you get prompted about putting your .mdb file into
the fpdb folder, you should. even after the above steps, you should move it
there manually if needed (it provides better security for you).

if you move the mdb, make sure you update it's path in your script if
necessary.
