Connecting to a domain on XP Media Center (and XP Home)

Hi and good day. I have recently purchased a new machine which as XP Media
Center on it. I was able to change the configuration to allow username
password authentication throught user profiles, but I want to be able to
authenticate on Windows 2000 Server, but cannot log into the domain? Does
anyone know where I can change this so I can log into the domain? Thanks so
