Connecting Outlook 2003 to an exchange 2003 server

Hi,

The Exchange 2003 Server is running SP1, and has ISA 2004 server SP1.
The workstation is running windows 2000 SP4

I am able to ping the exchange server, connect through telnet, and use
remote desktop from the workstation.

When trying to setup outlook 2003 on a workstation, the following message
appears:

"The action could not be completed. The connection to the Microsoft exchange
server is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this
action."

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Steve

Try putting the IP address in the box where you normally put the server name.
If that works, look in DNS on the server to be the problem.
