Connecting 2 LAN's

Scott

I have two sites. One site with a server running
Windows2K Advanced Server with clients running xp pro.
This site has a static DSL connection with a router built
into the modem. The other site is peer to peer with a
dynamic DSL connection and a Netgear Router. The sites
have no direct connection. How can I set up a network
that allows both LANs to see each other, share files and
printers, etc.? I was thinking a VPN, but that only
connects one computer at a time to the network with the
static address. I can't go the other way because of the
dynamic DSL on site 2. Can anyone help me?

Try a site-to-site VPN - I'd recommend using something like two compatible
Sonicwall firewalls. This works fine - no client software required. Also
will give you more protection than you have no, because it's unlikely that
the routers you have are true firewalls.
