Conflicting set of credentials

Jeff

We had to rebuild our win2k stand-alone server ground up.
We ran into numerous DNS issues trying to get the PCs (all
win2k pro) to join the domain. One computer has issues
all of it's own. Wehn you try to join, it says "unable to
join the domain due to a conflicting set of credentials"

Our DNS shows no computers other than the server. The
Active Directory shows no signs of that one computer, but
does show all those that have joined the Domain.

any ideas?
Thank you.

Hello Jeff,

do you have another connection to the computer? e.g. did you use your
useraccount which maps a network drive from the same server, and tried to
connect it to the domain providing a administrator account?

Gruesse - Sincerely,
