Configure W2k clients to access Internet thru DSL gateway

I've got a private network/W2k Domain, whereas, I have a subnet 177.177.124.0 with mask 255.255.252.0 that these nodes reside on. Two DNS servers (also DCs) reside at 177.177.124.1 and 177.177.124.2. We purchased a DSL service that came with a Netopia gateway/router. I configured the Netopia gateway/router to reside (on the LAN side) as 177.177.124.129 and configure a few W2k workstations on the LAN side have a second gateway and second set of DNS servers (that of the DSL gateway/router), The problem: My W2k clients that have been configured to "see" the DSL gateway can't see the Internet via "names" when our local DNS servers are plugged in. In otherwords, if i unplug the local DNS servers from our Intel 460T switch, the local clients can c the Interent via names. WTF

I've added a persistent route path for the DSL specified DNS servers, however, this doesn't help.

Remove the root zone from the forward lookup zone on your DNS server if it
is there. Configure your forwarders to point to your ISPs DNS.
