Configure Outlook 2k3 for RPC over HTTP via GPO

As usual, thanks in advance.

We have tested and have operational RPC over HTTP and I am looking to deploy
the settings for Outlook to support this via GPO. I cannot see anywhere in
the Office Outlook 2k3 ADM template any settings for enabling, setting the
Exchange Proxy Settings, set the URL, set Mutual Authenticaion, etc. to
support this. Am I missing something or do I need to roll my own ADM
template?

You're not missing anything. Email accounts are not configurable by GPO except with third-party tools such as Policy Maker. Instead, you deploy the settings with a .prf file, as detailed in the Office Resource Kit. If you have not already installed Outlook, you can include the settings in the .mst file created by the Custom Installation Wizard. Or, you can use the Custom Maintenance Wizard to create and deploy the .prf file. s

As it is an account setting you can deploy a prf-file for this. See the
Office Resource Kit for documentation of this. You can create a prf-file
with your settings by using the Custom Installation Wizard.
