Configure Outlook 2003 to With Feature from GoldMine

We currently use a CRM program - FrontRange's GoldMine - for our e-mail. We
don't use nearly as much of the program as we should to justify what we are
spending on it. However those people who have used it for years are attached
to a feature called "Linking".

In a nutshell "Linking" links all e-mail and documents sent to or received
by a client to that client's account in the Contact Database. So whenever
you lookup a client you can see every e-mail exchange, common notes, a
history etc. Very powerful.

I'm wondering if there is a way to use rules and filters in Outlook or BCM
to do the same thing. I'm very interested in switching from GoldMine (not
the easiest product in the world to support) but will need to ease the
transition for those married to "Linking"

Sincere thanks for the help and suggestions.

BCM can automatically maintain an email history for contacts in its database. For answers to your BCM questions, best to ask in the microsoft.public.outlook.bcm newsgroup.
