configure hyperlink formatting

S

snoach

I have added a special formatting to a cell and also the value it
shows.
When I make this cell as a hyperlink to another sheet (Ctrl-K)
then Excel automatically changes the formatting of the cell
(It achanges the font size, added underline, and when one clicks the
hyperlink - the color also changes.)

I want the hyperlink *to change nothing in the formatting*
Is there a way to do that?

Thanks!

I found this in the Excel help with the following search criteri
"hyperlink format":

When you make changes to the Hyperlink and Followed Hyperlink styles
your changes apply to all hyperlinks in the current workbook.

On the Format menu, click Style.
To change the appearance of hyperlinks before or after they have bee
clicked to make a jump, click Hyperlink or Followed Hyperlink in th
Style name box.
Click Modify.
Select the options you want, and then click OK.
Clear the check boxes for any options you don't want.
Click Add, and then click Close.
Note The Hyperlink style appears in the Style name box only if yo
have previously created a text hyperlink in the workbook. The Followe
Hyperlink style appears only if you have used a text hyperlink in th
workbook to jump to another file and then returned to the origina
workbook.

You'll have to change the formatting for the styles Hyperlink an
Followed Hyperlink. Change the font color to Automatic for both, an
the underline to none.
