Computers show up in Network Neighborhood

How do Computers show up in Network Neighborhood that
arent part of our Network and not even close to our naming
convention but then next day they gone? Thanks

Because their NetBIOS communications are reaching the system they show
up on and they have sharing enabled. :)

Laptops from home, wireless systems, insecure internet connections and
so on can cause this.
