my computer keeps on shutting down whenever i start it or
go on the web.
 
If you see mention of RPC as this happens, you are infected with either the
Blaster or Welchia/Nachia worm.

Please see this web page and use Kelly's script referenced on it to both
clear the infection, and download a Microsoft patch to prevent further
infection with these worms, and worse critters yet to come.
