Computer Won't Power Down

I've set my computer to power down after 1 hour and it's not working. Also,
I posted yesterday I was having a problem with my screensaver not working.
Obviously, the two things are related since both are set under screensaver.
Any fixes?

Where in the screensaver settings can you tell the system to power down? Do
you mean go into sleep mode?

Do you have a wireless mouse or keyboard?
